Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, and moved to be close to my daughter and grandsons, I now call Saint Simons Island home. After several diverse career paths, I am now doing just what I have always wanted.
The year of the global pandemic has given me the gift of time to follow a lifelong desire to explore the creative side of my brain. In the solitude of my home, I started with acrylic paints then I discovered alcohol inks, a medium with a mind of its own. I work on YUPO, a recyclable, waterproof, tree-free synthetic paper with a super-smooth surface.
With the encouragement of my friend Judee Brooks—plus many friends in my artistic community—this adventure evolves. Being a part of the Brunswick Artery has now opened new doors for my creative growth.
What a great blessing this year has been. Life continues to be colorful, surrounded by creative, wonderful artists.
